The costs of working at Danum Valley fall into two categories:
- Accommodation, food, transport, internet use, entry permits and conservation fees – which are charged by the Danum Valley Field Centre
- Research support services including research assistance, vehicle use, use of consumables etc – which are charged by the Royal Society SEARRP
