Since 1985 almost 200 MSc, PhD or post-doctoral projects have been completed as part of SEARRP at Danum Valley; there are currently more than 30 projects underway at the Field Centre.

The list of SEARRP projects is arranged by start date: 1985 to 1994, 1995 to 2004 and 2005 onwards. For further details on any of the projects, or contact information for the scientists involved, please contact: info@searrp.org.

Please note that only projects which are part of or associated with SEARRP, and are of MSc level or higher, are listed on this site. Many other research projects have been completed at Danum Valley including numerous undergraduate projects and thesis dissertations, university expeditions, field course reports and studies by scientists working through organisations such as JICA and DANCED. NEW BIRD SPECIES DISCOVERED AT DANUM VALLEY BY SEARRP SCIENTIST

The "Spectacled Flowerpecker," a bird species new to science, has been discovered in the heart of the Bornean rainforest. However, the species is so little known that it has yet to be given a scientific name.

 
How to Apply?
SEARRP is open to all scientists from Malaysia, SE Asia, the UK and Europe who plan to do research at the Danum Valley Field Centre.
